Since I’ve been spending so much time painting and I know I can’t delete paintings and shit I’ve resorted to painting over parts with black paint or gesso and every time I do I see my teacher making pained expressions. She’s started saying to me “I know you build up your layers and do your work slowly but surely” and I swear my art design teacher giggled (imagine him giggling he was giggling and it was weird) at me for a similar thing; he giggled/laughed because I’d have all these locked layers on Photoshop and stuff and he was like “ahhh all these layers *laugh*” and it was like my signature thing. Layers and being slow. That is my signature thing. Personally, I wouldn’t say my work is good though, it’s like my face where I hate seeing it all the time so I try to avoid looking at it.
